RICHARD VAN DER SCHYFF

Richard grew up in Port Elizabeth where he attended Grey High School after which he graduated from the University of Port Elizabeth with an LLB degree in 2001. He was admitted as an attorney in 2003 after completing his articles at a well known Port Elizabeth practice. In 2004 he moved to Johannesburg to pursue his passion for the property industry and has called it “home” ever since. Richard has built up many contacts in the property industry over the last 15 years and his background in property finance and time spent at one of South Africa’s biggest property portals allows him to provide his clients with sound property-related advice. Richard prides himself on being able to provide clients with practical real world solutions to complex property matters. Richard joined STBB in 2019 as a Director and was appointed as an Exco member in 2021. Richard enjoys spending time with his young family. Richard splits his time between our Fourways, Bedfordview and Sandton branches.
