NIEL GRUNDLINGH

Niel is a Director based at STBB Claremont and has extensive post-qualification experience. He specialises in dispute resolution and the negotiation and conclusion of commercial agreements, across various sectors, for both South African and foreign corporations. Niel has advised on multi-jurisdictional agreements pertaining to manufacturing, distribution, and sale in the pharmaceutical industry; mergers and acquisitions of corporate entities; large construction contracts; and agreements concerning renewable energy and property developments. In the sphere of dispute resolution, he regularly represents clients in the insolvency, business rescue, construction, credit law, and property fields. Niel has the right of appearance in the High Court and has represented clients in various jurisdictions across South Africa, including the Supreme Court of Appeal and Constitutional Court.
