JEAN MELTZER

Jean joined STBB on 1 July 2021 as a Candidate Attorney, and is now practicing as an Attorney at our Claremont branch. She completed her BA (Law) and post-graduate LLB degrees at Stellenbosch at the end of 2019. During her studies she was actively involved with numerous societies, including Pulp Film, the Golden Key International Honour Society and the TEDxStellenbosch Society. She also completed a number of short courses at the FVZS Institute, including Women in Leadership and Students as Agents of Social Change. During 2020, Jean attended the School for Legal Practice where she gained valuable practical experience. Jean is passionate about making a difference and believes strongly in the power of the law to effect meaningful reform. She hopes to use her skills to bring about change in the future. In her spare time Jean enjoys reading and spending time with friends, loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking and trail running.
