Hopewell Sathekge

Hopewell is a practising Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary Public based at the Sandton branch of STBB. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Johannesburg in 2010, his Master's degree in commercial law from the University of Cape Town in 2013 and his Postgraduate Diploma in corporate law from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2015. The thesis for his Master's degree focused largely on registration of securities in the South African Deeds Office. Since getting his triple admission in 2013, Hopewell has been specialising in commercial property law focusing mainly on registration of securities in favour of non-commercial banks as well as local and international funds. Before joining STBB Hopewell was a Director in the Real Estate department of a law firm based in Sandton. Hopewell has a passion for writing articles on topical issues in the property sector.
