DIANE SNYMAN

Diane is an Attorney, Notary Public and Conveyancer with over 25 years experience in the conveyancing field. She joined STBB in 2003 as a conveyancing paralegal, coming from a very strong property developments background, having attended to the development transfers and bonds for two very large Cape Town developers. She has been the pivotal part of the STBB Deeds Office team at the Head office in Cape Town for many years, gaining invaluable experience in conveyancing and Deeds Office practice and procedures. Her vast knowledge and strong administrative skills, coupled with her attention to detail have been integral to the success of this department. She commenced with her previously suspended studies in 2017 and completed her LLB degree while working full time. She went on to write and pass both the prescribed Conveyancing and Notarial exams and was admitted in 2022 as an Attorney, Notary Public and Conveyancer. She intends to register for her Masters in Property Law in the near future. Aside from her academic achievements, Diane is passionate about assisting and training candidates to study for and pass the notoriously tricky conveyancing exams and will continue to contribute to the support and upliftment of these candidates on an ongoing basis. Diane's primary focus is on Property Law, being mainly residential property transactions and the registration of the mortgage bonds. As a Notary Public, Diane intends to expand her horizons with the registration of Antenuptial contracts, co-habitation and Life Partnership agreements and Wills, as she believes that some of these areas are often neglected due to time constraints, causing conundrums at a later stage. When she is not reading conveyancing articles, legal books and case law, Diane loves spending time with her family and watching motorcycle racing.
