ASHLEY MAKORE

Ashley is a UWC LLB graduate. She pursued her LLM (Master of Law) in Labour Law whilst being a teaching assistant at UWC. Ashley is an Associate at the STBB Tyger Valley branch in the Property Law and Conveyancing department. She has a keen interest in expanding her knowledge in deceased estates, conveyancing, commercial law and litigation. She is passionate about giving back to the community and has been involved in mentoring programmes, Street Law (a community outreach programme) and volunteered at Africa Unite, a human rights and youth empowerment organisation that works with citizens, refugees and migrants. To wind down, Ashley reads a lot of fiction novels and spends time with family and friends. What keeps her motivated is this quote: ‘Where there is a will, there is a way’.
