FNB has gone live with the electronic signing of the Home Loan documents on 1 November 2019. The electronic signature platform applies to both FNB Home Finance as well as FNB Private Bank Lending.
STBB has offices across the Western Cape, suited to your client’s convenience. However, in order to make it possible for your clients to sign at a branch of their choice, the following process MUST be followed to enable electronic signature:
1. Your instruction letter together with the full set of compliance documents may be delivered to our Cape Town office, addressed for the attention of Lee Meyer or Wadia Simons or Carol Traub, via Docex No. 45 Cape Town or to our physical address, 9th Floor, 5 St George’s Mall, Cape Town, 8000. Alternatively please e-mail the aforesaid documentation to firstname.lastname@example.org / email@example.com as your client may not be comfortable reading and understanding the documents on screen. Please note that the printing of the Home Loan documents will carry additional costs for your account.
2. Once we have acknowledged receipt of your documents, we will contact your client(s) either telephonically or by email for a suitable date, time and place for signature.
3. Once your client has confirmed their appointment, we will advise you of the attorney details in order for you to create the necessary electronic signing session.
