ZAMEER JAFFER

Zameer is a Candidate Attorney in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution department at STBB Tyger Valley. He graduated with an LLB and LLM in International Criminal Justice from the University of Cape Town in 2019 and 2024, respectively. During his LLM, he honed his drafting and research skills. In 2020, he completed practical training at the School for Legal Practice. Prior to joining STBB, Zameer was employed by the NPA as a District Prosecutor, during which time he gained valuable, hands-on experience in criminal litigation, advocacy, and courtroom procedure. This experience sharpened his ability to think on his feet and present legal arguments effectively. Before that, he worked at Exigent, where he reviewed documentation for privilege, relevance, and other considerations, as well as at UWC’s Legal Aid Clinic.
