KAUTHAR ACHMAT

Kauthar is a Candidate Attorney in the Commercial department at STBB Claremont. She graduated with an LLB from the University of the Western Cape in 2020 and completed practical legal training at the LEAD in 2024. During her studies, Kauthar featured on the Dean’s Merit List and was invited to join the Golden Key International Honour Society. Before commencing articles of clerkship at STBB, she worked in the ALSP sector, where she gained experience in document review, e-Discovery, contract drafting and negotiation, template rationalisation, AI-supported contract review, and prompt engineering. Kauthar also served as a Graduate and Vacation Work Programme Coordinator and mentored law students under the BLASC Mentorship Programme.
