HEIDI MÜLLER
I attended Springfield Convent Senior School and later studied towards a Diploma in Business Management and Paralegal studies at Montrose Business Paralegal College. Graduating with five distinctions I successfully passed two International Pitman exams.
Prior to joining STBB in 1997, I worked at two other Cape Town-based law firms where I gained practical industry knowledge. I have worked with Martine Newman since 1998 and have ever since focused on the needs of our banking business partners.
After having experienced life overseas and worked as a paralegal in Scotland and London, I returned to South Africa in 2002 rejoined STBB Claremont. I continuously attend short business courses to enhance and increase my knowledge, skill, and abilities, including Human Resources Management Diploma and a diploma in Digital Marketing, which assist and add value in the new ways we do business; with our Banks in particular.
Through constant change and growth at STBB, I joined our STBB Development Bonds Department where I managed a team of 5 bond paralegals and assisted with all end-user inquiries, bond registration processes, workflow, day to day operations for development bond and building loan registrations, for multiple banking institutions. In doing so, I acquired a solid understanding of the various banks’ bond registration requirements, their particular suspensive conditions, their compliance requirements, and their no-fault approach.
I am a people's person, a good listener and many clients have referred to me as an ambassador for STBB, a company that I am indeed passionate about.
