Tholakele Mrubata studied at The University of the Western Cape (UWC) and graduated with an LLB degree in 2018 and is currently working towards being admitted as an Attorney, Notary Public and Conveyancer.
Tholakele strength lies in Litigation and she has an interest in Conveyancing and Litigation. She is currently improving and developing her skills in the Litigation Department at STBB in Claremont, where she is learning important lessons pertaining to the law, time management, client relations, drafting skills, attorneys accounting and teamwork. She is eager and determined to use the skills gained in litigation in championing her way higher in the legal fraternity.
Tholakele is vibrant, giving, hardworking and dedicated, not only does she encompass this in her legal career, but she also encompasses this in her personal life too.
She has always had a key interest in helping those in need and has been involved in charitable organizations throughout High School and University and she regularly assists children in her community if and when they are in need of school supplies. One of the highlights of her organizational work is being appointed as a Committee member of the Students for Law and Social Justice, She was chosen to be part of the African Charter of the International Association of Women Judges where she completed 30 hours shadowing Magistrates in Cape Town and also took part in a number of charitable activities organized by the organization.
She is also part of the executive committee of ‘Being a Man’, an organization that is working towards educating young boys about inappropriate behavior that contributes to Rape culture in a country such as South Africa dealing with a rape crises.
She enjoys having a balanced life and partakes in social activities and has recently taken an interest in running and fitness.
