{"id":43886,"date":"2025-11-27T09:12:50","date_gmt":"2025-11-27T07:12:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stbb.co.za\/dev2\/?p=43886"},"modified":"2025-11-27T10:27:14","modified_gmt":"2025-11-27T08:27:14","slug":"the-north-gauteng-deeds-registry-pretoria-confirms-december-2025-working-arrangements","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stbb.co.za\/dev2\/the-north-gauteng-deeds-registry-pretoria-confirms-december-2025-working-arrangements\/","title":{"rendered":"The North Gauteng Deeds Registry: Pretoria confirms December 2025 working arrangements"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a succinct <a href=\"https:\/\/stbb.co.za\/dev2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Newsflash_Deeds_Registry_Notice-North-Gauteng_27November2025.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>notice<\/u><\/a> issued by the Acting Registrar of Deeds, the North Gauteng Deeds Registry: Pretoria has confirmed its December 2025 working arrangements in anticipation of the festive season.<\/p>\n<p>Accordingly, please note the following information and dates for matters lodged at the North Gauteng Deeds Registry:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Pretoria Deeds Office will close to clients and the public on Wednesday, 24<sup>th<\/sup> December 2025 and Wednesday, 31<sup>st<\/sup> December 2025 at 10h00.<\/li>\n<li>To ensure that matters are finalised timeously, conveyancers are encouraged to lodge their deeds and documents by Tuesday, 2<sup>nd<\/sup> December 2025 for registration on or before Friday, 19<sup>th<\/sup> December 2025.<\/li>\n<li>No cut-off date for lodgements has been specified.<\/li>\n<li>An extension for any deeds and documents \u2018on prep\u2019, which are not registered by Tuesday, 23<sup>rd<\/sup> December 2025, will be permitted until Thursday, 8<sup>th<\/sup> January 2026 after which automatic rejections will apply.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Although STBB\u2019s 13 offices close at midday on Wednesday, 24<sup>th<\/sup> December 2025 and reopen for business on Monday, 5<sup>th<\/sup> January 2026, we will make every effort to ensure that your transaction is registered on your selected date.
