Yesterday, the Law Society of South Africa (\u2018the LSSA\u2019) published its updated Guideline of Fees (\u2018the Guideline\u2019). The Guideline, which delineates recommended fees for conveyancing-related transactions, will apply to all relevant instructions received from Friday,\u00a01st<\/sup>\u00a0August\u00a02025.<\/p>\n

The Guideline is generally updated on an annual basis, and was released later than initially anticipated.<\/p>\n

Crucially, the amended conveyancing tariff \u2013 reflecting an upward fee adjustment \u2013 for the transfer of immovable property and the registration of mortgage bonds is set out in the table below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
