{"id":38028,"date":"2024-12-05T11:21:55","date_gmt":"2024-12-05T09:21:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stbb.co.za\/dev2\/?p=38028"},"modified":"2024-12-05T11:21:55","modified_gmt":"2024-12-05T09:21:55","slug":"newsflash-the-kwazulu-natal-deeds-registry-pietermaritzburg-confirms-december-2024-working-arrangements","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stbb.co.za\/dev2\/newsflash-the-kwazulu-natal-deeds-registry-pietermaritzburg-confirms-december-2024-working-arrangements\/","title":{"rendered":"Newsflash | The KwaZulu-Natal Deeds Registry: Pietermaritzburg confirms December 2024 working arrangements"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The KwaZulu-Natal Deeds Registry: Pietermaritzburg has confirmed its December 2024 working arrangements in anticipation of the festive season.<\/p>\n<p>According to the details of a <a href=\"https:\/\/stbb.co.za\/dev2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/KwazuluNatal-Deeds-Office-Year-End-Arrangements_2024.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #850129;\"><u>notice<\/u><\/span><\/a> issued by the Registrar of Deeds: KwaZulu-Natal, please note the following for matters lodged at the KwaZulu-Natal Deeds Registry:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Deeds Registry has declined to set a deadline for the lodgement of deeds and documents intended for registration in 2024.<\/li>\n<li>Conveyancers are directed to lodge all deeds and documents earmarked for registration before year-end as soon as practicably possible.<\/li>\n<li>Any requests to fast-track deeds for registration in 2024 will not be considered.<\/li>\n<li>Double execution of deeds will take place on Wednesday, 18<sup>th<\/sup> December 2024.<\/li>\n<li>Normal operating hours will apply on Thursday, 19<sup>th<\/sup> December 2024, Friday, 20<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0December 2024, and Monday, 23<sup>rd<\/sup> December 2024.<\/li>\n<li>The Deeds Registry has not specified the exact dates of its closure and re-opening and will communicate any further details, if necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At STBB, we remain committed to ensuring that your transaction is registered on your selected date.
