{"id":37906,"date":"2024-11-28T16:08:16","date_gmt":"2024-11-28T14:08:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stbb.co.za\/dev2\/?p=37906"},"modified":"2024-11-28T16:47:18","modified_gmt":"2024-11-28T14:47:18","slug":"newsflash-the-south-gauteng-deeds-registry-johannesburg-confirms-december-2024-working-arrangements","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stbb.co.za\/dev2\/newsflash-the-south-gauteng-deeds-registry-johannesburg-confirms-december-2024-working-arrangements\/","title":{"rendered":"Newsflash | The South Gauteng Deeds Registry: Johannesburg confirms December 2024 working arrangements"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The South Gauteng Deeds Registry: Johannesburg has confirmed its December 2024 working arrangements in anticipation of its closure over the festive season.<\/p>\n<p>According to the details of a <a href=\"https:\/\/stbb.co.za\/dev2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/SGDeedsRegistryFestivePeriodArrangements2024.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #850129\"><u>notice<\/u><\/span><\/a> issued by the Registrar of Deeds, please note the following dates for matters lodged at the South Gauteng Deeds Registry:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Deeds Registry will close to clients and the public on Tuesday,\u00a024<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0December 2024 at 10h00 and re-open on Thursday, 2<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0January\u00a02025.<\/li>\n<li>The cut-off date for lodging deeds and documents for registration by Monday,\u00a023<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0December is Monday, 9<sup>th<\/sup> December 2024.<\/li>\n<li>Any deeds and documents lodged after this date are not guaranteed to register in 2024.<\/li>\n<li>No cut-off date for lodgements has been specified this year.<\/li>\n<li>Any deeds and documents \u2018on prep\u2019 and not registered by Monday,\u00a023<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0December\u00a02024 will not be rejected. Instead, automatic rejections will be temporarily suspended until Monday, 6<sup>th<\/sup> January 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At STBB, we remain committed to ensuring that your transaction is registered on your selected date.
