Last month, the JSE published various proposed changes to its Corporate Action Tables, which specify the procedures and deadlines for corporate actions impacting listed securities, for public comment.
These suggested amendments are commensurate with the JSE Listings Requirements, which were formally revised and approved late last year.
The JSE’s proposed changes include amended definitions, the replacement of ‘mother share’ with ‘source share’, the incorporation of the existing Guidance Letter, and the introduction of new tables, among other alterations.
Interested stakeholders are reminded that the comment period closes on Monday, 9th June 2025. Submissions may be sent to CAConsultant@jse.co.za.
View the amendments, which have been supplemented by a brief rationale, where applicable, here.
