SERION YI

Serion is a second year Candidate Attorney in the Conveyancing department at the Helderberg branch. She completed her BCom (Law) and LLB degrees in 2018 and 2020 respectively at the University of the Western Cape. In the final year of her LLB degree she took a keen interest in Intellectual Property Law and pursued a LLM in that field at the University of Cape Town in 2021. She plans to write the Patent Exam to become a Patent Attorney in the near future. She has dual citizenship in both South Africa and South Korea and had the experience of growing up in both South Korea and Morocco. She is fluent in South Korean, English, French, and knows basic Arabic. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, bodyboarding and painting. She also loves to travel and meet new people.
