Marcelle O'Malley is a Candidate Attorney at STBB Claremont.
She completed her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with a distinction at the University of the Western Cape, graduated fourth place on the Dean's Merit List and received first place for her research paper titled: “South Africa's compliance with the Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination against women (CEDAW)”.
As a student, Marcelle was also part of various societies such as Street Law, The Students for Law and Social Justice, as well as the Women's Pioneer Programme – a programme run by the South African Chapter of the International Association of Women Judges & Democratic Governance & Rights Unit.
She is a Human Rights Activist and feminist by nature who loves advocating for the marginalized.
She is currently pursuing her Masters in Law in Multilevel Government, Law & Policy at the Dullah Omar Institute, University of the Western Cape.
Marcelle has an interest in Commercial and Alternative Dispute Resolution matters as well as Deceased Estates, Wills and Trusts and is planning focus on these in her career.
During her free time Marcelle enjoys spending time with her family.
