LAURIE OLIVER

Laurie commenced her articles with STBB in July 2022 and is currently in the Litigation department at the Cape Town branch. She obtained her BA and LLB degrees from Stellenbosch University graduating cum laude. Laurie completed the final 6 months of her law degree at Leiden University in the Netherlands where she focused her studies on child law, international human rights, corporate social responsibility and European and global labour law. Laurie has a passion for human rights and children's rights, which she believes require increased focus, especially in South Africa It is her goal to acquire the legal knowledge to help ensure that the rights of all South Africans are actualised. Outside of her professional life she enjoys sport and is an avid Sharks and Springbok supporter. She loves spending time with her friends and family.
