GUY ARBUTHNOT

Guy is a Candidate Attorney in the Conveyancing department at STBB’s Cape Town branch. He graduated from the University of Cape Town with a degree in Social Science, majoring in Politics & Governance and Law. It was at UCT and during his undergraduate studies that his interest in Law started dominating. He therefore continued his studies and obtained a postgraduate LLB via correspondence through STADIO School of Law, whilst simultaneously teaching foreign students online and frontrunning suitable curriculum design for Wise Education Limited. He passed the LLB degree with honours, gaining 14 distinctions. He is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. A firm of STBB’s pedigree offers great exposure to its Candidate Attorneys through various rotations in different departments. His immediate goal is to gain exposure to the different types of law practices within the firm in order to identify and gain experience in the field that he is most passionate about. He rarely sits still - unless it is to read a captivating book on a nearby beach. When out of office, you will find him running, swimming, playing ball games, socialising or spending time with his family.
